Matt Skinner Joins Gusto’s CPA Advisory Council

We’re proud to share that Matt Skinner, CPA, has been named to Gusto’s CPA Advisory Council. In this new role, Matt will contribute his accounting expertise to help shape the future of small business payroll and advisory services—building on the same client-first approach he brings to Beaird Harris each day.

As many of you know, we work very closely with Gusto to serve our clients’ payroll needs and are excited to announce that Matt Skinner has been accepted into Gusto's CPA Advisory Council.  This will allow Matt to share his accounting knowledge and insight with the industry at large.

Matt Skinner, CPA | Advisory Services Manager

Matt Skinner joined Beaird Harris in 2018 as part of our Accounting Services Team and now leads our Advisory Services Team, assisting business clients with financial reporting, budgeting, and management. Prior to joining Beaird Harris, Matt began his career in public accounting before working in the retail sector for a nationwide retailer and later for private equity investing in hospitality, medical, and dental.

He is also a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the Firm’s Technology Committee and on Gusto’s CPA Advisory Council.

Matt graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting before becoming a CPA.
