Each year, D Magazine invites Certified Financial Planner™ professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Financial Planning Association to nominate peers they consider among the most skilled and experienced financial planners in the industry. Outside-firm nominations are weighted more heavily than nominations from within a planner’s own firm. The nominees are then reviewed by an anonymous panel of experienced CFP® professionals, with D Magazine editors finalizing the list after verifying each honoree’s CFP® status and FPA membership.
Ginnie Baker joined Beaird Harris Wealth Management in 2015 and became a Partner in 2020. She works with high-net-worth individuals and families, with a particular focus on clients in the healthcare industry. Her comprehensive approach helps clients navigate the many interconnected decisions that shape their financial lives, including investments, insurance, estate planning, employee benefits and retirement planning.

Ginnie earned both her Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning and Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. She is a Certified Financial Planner® professional, licensed Investment Advisory Representative and member of the Financial Planning Association. She is also a Past President of the DFW Chapter of FPA and past Chair of the National OneFPA Advisory Council’s Executive Committee.
